Issue #3 really plumped up in page and contributor count, building off a 2003 55DSL x Faesthetic art show, and an amazing list of graff artists introduced to me by the legend Rogrer Gastman. It didn’t hurt that 55dsl & American Apparel were sponsors, which eased the burden of my credit card funding the operation. 🤑
For me, the highlight of this issue was a collaboration with Mike Giant’s “Skullz Press” imprint, where I had the chance to do collaborative illustrations with art friends Dalek, JOKER, and Tiffany Bozic. I am pretty sure I still have those Tiffany Bozic drawings archived away…
Like the first two issues, this #zine was black and white with no conceptual theme, but there was a strong anti-war & anti-George Bush undercurrent to a lot of the submissions.
Issue #3 showcases 196 pages of original art from over 85 artists. Featuring high-quality 1 color offset printing, and a collaboration with the Skullz Press!
